So, this week, I tried doing the comic differently. Usually, when I do these full-page ones, as opposed to the multi-panel-in-column comics, I draw the whole thing on an 8.5×11 piece of paper, then scan them in and draw in all the lines, speech bubbles, etc. This time, though, I decided to try drawing everything separately, then scanning them in and assembling the whole comic on the computer. I think this turned out pretty well, as I had more control over the whole comic’s layout. But then I went and chose this really boring regular rectangles layout. Hmm. Perhaps I should have been tipped off by the first three letters of the word “assemble”?
It seems like I keep alternating between two computers for doing updates. I really should sit down one day and consolidate all the files on to just one machine. Speaking of which, the file on one of the machines where the site’s code is stored is still labeled “Nonsence Wars” …
Well, that’s all for today. Until next week, carry! (on, off, through, forward, away, etc.)
